From the silver screen to the collector’s shelf.
adidas and Unisport have revived a football boot with film-star status – the F50 Spider. First seen on the feet of Santiago Muñez in Goal!, it became the symbol of every dream chaser who grew up believing football could change their life. Two decades later, that same story comes full circle in a limited-edition remake for Unisport’s 30th anniversary.

The F50 Spider wasn’t born in a film studio, but Goal! made it legendary. Santiago Muñez wore it as he rose from Newcastle’s streets to Real Madrid’s spotlight and every kid watching wanted a pair. adidas and Unisport understand that power, reintroducing the boot that once inspired an entire generation.

The reborn F50 Spider keeps its white base, red Three Stripes and that iconic web-graphic stretched across the upper. A fold-over tongue nods to its early-2000s roots, while gold detailing and “1995–2025” aglets mark Unisport’s milestone year. Only 995 pairs exist – part collectible, part cultural artefact.
While the silhouette of the original remains instantly recognisable, two key updates distinguish the 2026 edition. The web design once a simple blue pattern, now features streaks of red, injecting energy into its visual DNA. And true to Adidas’ approach with remakes, the soleplate transitions to a modern Sprintframe 360 chassis, delivering comfort and performance that the 2004 version could only dream of.

Set to release on October 29, the limited-edition F50 Spider remake drops in just 995 pairs worldwide
