A new era for goalkeeper culture ahead of 2026.

Nike introduces Hollywood Keepers, a design statement that revisits the bold flair and eccentric confidence of 1990s and early 2000s goalkeepers. The concept reframes the keeper as a cultural figure with theatrical presence and expressive style ahead of the world’s biggest tournament next summer. It marks the beginning of a new chapter in how goalkeeper kits are imagined.

The heritage of Hollywood Keepers comes from a time when goalkeepers were visual icons with oversized personality. Nike taps into the era of vibrant patterns, fearless confidence, and attitude driven design. Rather than replicate the past, the brand reframes those traits as a foundation for future expression.

Eight federations receive their own Hollywood Keepers story. The U.S. design uses flashy details with reimagined stars and stripes inspired by USMNT heritage. England’s design unleashes an amplified Three Lions graphic that feels raw and powerful. Korea’s interpretation blends the duality of its football culture through a layered peony pattern beneath a bold tiger print with volt streaks. These creative choices preview the direction Nike will take with the on pitch Hollywood Keeper uniforms that will debut in 2026.

This collection previews not just the future of goalkeeping design but the direction of Nike’s entire 2026 federation lineup. It elevates keeper expression through theatre and storytelling. It also connects the past and present, recognising the historic swagger of 90s keepers while building a platform for new generations to make their own mark.

Nike’s Hollywood Keepers capsule releases globally December 8th on Nike.com, and selected retailers.
