From the South Stand to the City Streets

Since 1985 the Populaire Sud ultras have filled the South Stand of Nice with colour, chant and devotion. Now the club and Kappa honour that legacy with a shirt that carries their mark – 1985-2025 beneath the badge, their motto “Honneur et Fidélité” on the collar.

The South Stand of OGC Nice has been a bastion of ultra culture since 1985. The “Populaire Sud” shirt features the years 1985 – 2025 below the club crest, symbolising this four-decade movement. On the back collar the emblem of Populaire Sud and their motto “Honneur et Fidélité” appear – a visual codification of identity.

The “Populaire Sud” shirt is fully black with red accents at the collar and sleeve cuffs, paying subtle homage to the club colours. The club badge features 1985-2025, while the back of the collar carries the Populaire Sud emblem and their motto. The fabric utilises Kappa’s KOMBAT™ PRO technology for flexibility and breathability.

Football fans often speak about identity — but rarely does that identity get stitched into the fabric so visibly. OGC Nice’s “Populaire Sud” shirt stands as a sign-post: this is a jersey for the supporters who built the atmosphere, for those who live the club beyond 90 minutes.

The “Populaire Sud” fourth shirt will wear two release stages: first, Sunday 16 November for registered Populaire Sud members at the OGC Nice boutique (Place Masséna), followed by general sale Monday 17 November.
